Making a donation to the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is your chance to really make a difference in the fight against leukaemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and the related blood cancers. Only with your help can we improve treatments, find cures and ultimately prevent leukaemia. There are a number of ways to make a donation, a one-off gift, a more regular commitment, or even a charitable bequest.

We want to encourage you, our supporters to donate £5 for our 50th birthday via our special Just Giving page Giveus 5 and then to send the link on to your friends and family. Our target is £50,000, so we'll need to reach 10,000 supporters. Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is the only UK charity solely dedicated to research into blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. We've changed our name from Leukaemia Research to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research to better communicate the breadth of our work and support more blood cancer patients than ever before. Thank you for supporting us in our 50th year. Your contribution really will make a difference to the lives of the 28,500 people diagnosed every year with a blood cancer. |

"Gift Aid" means that charities can claim tax on any donation, providing they have been made by a UK tax payer. This means we can claim back an extra 28p for every £1 you give to the charity. If you donate via Just Giving, gift aid is collected automatically.
However you choose to support us, your gift will help fund a brighter future for patients everywhere.
Below is a picture of the recipients of the generosity from The North Thames-Side Ladies Auxiliary. (I'm the one with the beard.) The Ladies collected over £7,000 and kindly donated £500 to Leukaemia Research, which I gladly accepted.
The North Thames-Side Ladies Auxiliary (NTLA) is run by local publicans and their supporters who organise regular social events and fundraisers including golf days and 'Stars in your eyes' competitions. They celebrated their 50th year with this presentation of cheques to local charities.
Chairlady Eve Gue, Landlady of the Exhibition Pub in Great Wakering, and President Mike Goff, owner of the Hollywood Restaurant in Thundersley, welcomed the 12 charities to a Presentation Reception, which was held at The Exhibition.
